Glass Lab Shooting Thru Mediums (Barriers)

The probability of an OIS shooting increases daily. The weapons and ammunition choices have changed and so has the training needs.  Having the knowledge on how your ammunition performs when utilized when it may have to counter some type of medium (Glass, wood, Plastic, etc.)    This class is geared towards the Tactical Precision Rifle shooters primarily.  The class will review a variety of glass types, ballistics material, angles and distances.   The shooters will work problems with the materials and report the performance and outcomes of the testing that will take place.  The information will be shared with each attending agency to pass along to their firearms staff.

Students should bring their Precision Rifle and Handgun with at least 50 rounds for each.   If your agency has a designated barrier round, it is recommended you bring that Ammunition also.
